Roaring Wild

The Roaring Wild: A Forum for Youth and The Environment is an exciting project by Aspen Public Radio, made possible through the generosity of the John Denver Aspenglow Fund.

The goal of this project is to give students (K-12) a place online to showcase their environmental and outdoor experiences through writing, art, photography, film, and  any other creative method that can be displayed in an online format.

Many schools in the Roaring Fork Valley have Outdoor Education programs, where students and teachers spend time in the wilderness, visit national parks, or study nature in the backyard. They also regularly take their students into the environment to take part in the living  classroom that is just outside their doors.

The Roaring Wild will give students from Aspen to Carbondale an opportunity to share their experiences in nature with other students and the community at large.
