As I walked through the canyon alone, I noticed how there are constantly rocks falling from high atop the canyon walls and that the shape of the canyon was constantly changing. If I were to come back here in a year, 3 years, 10 years, how different would this canyon look. This made me realize that the only thing consistent with the canyon was change, that the only consistent with anything in our lives is change. Challenges are constantly being thrown at us and we have to adapt, because nothing will never be exactly the same as it is right now. And if we can adjust to the consistent inconsistency, we can more easily cope with the challenges we have to face in life. This realization made all pain and suffrage seem to be only temporary and while thinking of this I felt like there was nothing I couldn't do.
